Overseas Booths to Promote Investment Environment. With more favorable policies from the Chinese government to encourage Chinese enterprises to go global, an increasing number of Chinese companies are seeking partners abroad. At this year’s CIFIT, booths outside the mainland have provided such an ideal platform. Many countries and regions set up their booths to promote their investment environment. In Hong Kong booth, a delegation of over 50 official organizations and enterprises brought related information about manufacturing and service to attract Chinese investors. Head of Hong Kong booth told our reporters that the government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and industrial and commercial circles have attached great importance to CIFIT. The stands increased up to 33, covering an area of 300 square meters. We hope that more effective ways would be adopted to promote Hong Kong as an ideal investment destination for Chinese investors.) In the Belgian booth, our reporters found that business representatives and experts from Flanders, the second largest city of Belgium, were busy introducing the investment environment and related projects to Chinese visitors. Officials from the Belgian government told our reporters that this was the second time for them to attend CIFIT, where they have made contacts with many Chinese companies. In these overseas booths, our reporters could feel a live atmosphere, with people of diverse cultures discussing business issues.
